At The Yardley Institute, we truly believe in personalized care. From the moment you begin your first visit, you will see that our entire process is tailored specifically to fit your individual needs. Once we meet with you and discuss your health history, your doctor will then discuss your visit expectations and how we can best match those with our services.
Once we have collaborated to establish the type of care that would be most beneficial, the real work can begin. Dr. Yardley and his staff will show you what the nation’s most gentle and precise Chiropractic techniques can really do. They will assess the condition of your spinal structures and nervous system using extremely accurate scanning technologies and meticulous instrumentation. Based on this evaluation and assessment, we may take x-rays of your spine, determine your plan of care, and set you up for your first Upper Cervical adjustment. Accessing a range of technologies including both that which has proven itself over the decades and that which is cutting edge having even been developed as part of the NASA space program, your evaluation may include the following: -
ANATOMETER: - An instrument found in very few Chiropractic offices and then only those dedicated to the most precise Upper Cervical procedures. This instrument facilitates measurements that have a high level of reproducibility and have been found to co-relate with the precise three-dimensional x-rays that have been the trademark of precise Upper Cervical techniques for over 60 years.
THERMOGRAPHIC IMAGING:- A technology that was first introduced by the Chiropractic profession to the healing sciences in 1924 that has stood the test of time. This has been updated to a computerized platform and provides a valuable tool to track the progress of a case.
SURFACE ELECTROMYOGRAPHY (Myovision): - This allows for the measurement of the electrical activity of the muscles throughout the spine non-invasively. Although not limited to Upper Cervical Chiropractic this provides visual evidence of the impact and power of the Upper Cervical adjustment throughout the spine and indeed the entire body.
Don’t worry, you won’t be left in the dark or buried in technical terms. Dr. Yardley and his staff will once again sit down with you, explain what the examinations have determined and collaborate with you to decide the type of care that you are both comfortable with, and most importantly, will get you back to living the life that you deserve to live.
Once a plan of action has been decided, subsequent visits will include a number of objective measurements. All of these procedures help us to make sure we are providing quality care without compromising anything. Truly, we always have your best interest in mind during each step of your care.
